Pirates of The Caribbean 5 Super Bowl Spot

Super Bowl Sunday has come and gone and Tom Brady and the New England Patriots have been crowed champions for 2017. Now that we have that out the way, how about the Super Bowl trailers, specifically Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Dead Men Tell No Tales. Although decidedly slim on showings of fan favourite Captain Jack Sparrow, the trailer clarified the basic plot and gave the shortest cameo of Captain Jack covered in mud, a story we can’t wait to hear about.

After 6 years of waiting, yes Pirates of the Caribbean, On Stranger Tides was released 6 years ago now (feel old yet?), we have a new tale in the ever expanding chronicles of Captain Jack Sparrow and his quest to be the most famous pirate whomever lived. Along the way we have bore witness to a franchise seemingly intent on killing itself with each new sequel being, well just another sequel that nobody will remember or care about. However, with this latest installment, Disney have gone back to what made the first movie great, Captain Jack against the rising undead. Formulaic and unoriginal yes but, it could make for a fun watch.

Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set to be released on May 26, 2017.
