The second trailer for Marvel Studio’s Spider-Man Homecoming is here!
The trailer, released on Marvel Entertainment’s Twitter account gave us a lot to go on. Firstly, we get a first look at the motivations behind Michael Keaton’s Vulture as he proclaim’s, “The rich and the powerful like Stark, they don’t care about us.” We also see Peter Parker’s fall from grace as Tony strips him of his suit and disowns him following a catastrophe on a ferry that Iron Man has to cleanup.
In addition to the plot hint’s, we also get a great look at the Stark-designed Spider-Man suit. In addition to the quick release function, the chest spider logo also serves as a detachable drone for… well we don’t know that part yet but damn it’s cool.

The first trailer hinted at a Spider-Man character more closely resembling that of the source material. The character’s internal conflict of being a normal high school student while at the same time being a superhero is something that had been lacking from Andrew Garfield’s and Tobey Maguire’s portrayals. However, Homecoming seems to be a return to that classic Spider-Man character arch, a nuance that is sure to please both casual and hardcore fans alike.
Spider-Man Homecoming and the as yet untitled Black Panther will be the final solo movie character introductions before the much anticipated 2018 blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War. With Tom Holland’s Spider-Man having already impressed in his very brief appearance in Captain America Civil War, expectations will be high for his upcoming solo movie.
Spider-Man Homecoming is set to hit U.S. theaters on 7 July, 2017.
